Return & Refund Policy

At CRU Inc., we are committed to providing high-quality air compressor parts, oils, and services. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
1. Return Window
You have [30] calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your request must be initiated within this timeframe.
2. Eligibility for Returns (Parts & Products)
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Condition: The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it.
- Packaging: It must be in the original, undamaged packaging suitable for resale.
- Documentation: You must provide the receipt, order number, or proof of purchase.
Eligible Items include:
- Air Filters, Oil Filters, and Separators
- Inline Filter Elements
- Service Kits
- Sealed Oil Pails (See Section 3)
3. Special Rules for Oils & Fluids
Due to shipping regulations and safety standards, the following applies to oil and fluid purchases:
- Sealed Containers: Oil pails and lubricants may only be returned if the factory seal is completely intact.
- Leaking/Damaged: If your oil arrives damaged or leaking, please photograph the damage immediately and contact us at parts@cruairgas.com for a replacement. Do not attempt to return leaking packages.
- Opened Containers: We cannot accept returns on opened oil pails or fluids under any circumstances.
4. Non-Returnable Items & Services
Certain items and services are final sale and cannot be returned:
- Services: Fees for Airend Overhaul Services, diagnostic labor, or technical support are non-refundable once the service has been performed or the unit has been stripped/inspected.
- Rentals: Payments for Stationary Electric Rentals are governed by your specific Rental Agreement and are not eligible for standard e-commerce returns.
- Hazardous/Flammable Items: Any items marked as hazardous materials (that are not standard sealed oils) cannot be returned due to shipping restrictions.
5. Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Our Error/Defective: If you received an incorrect or defective item, CRU Inc. will provide a prepaid return shipping label and cover the cost of the return.
6. Restocking Fees
All returns for non-defective parts (e.g., ordered the wrong size/part number) are subject to a [15% - 20%] restocking fee to cover handling and inspection costs. This amount will be deducted from your refund.
7. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact Us: Email us at parts@cruairgas.com or call 905-501-0116 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
- Pack: Securely pack the item in its original packaging. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.
- Ship: Mail the item to our Returns Department at:

8. Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
- If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (credit card, etc.).
- You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
